NHA Urges Tenants To Respect Ebola Measures

By: Robert Dixon

MONROVIA, August 14 (LINA) -The National Housing Authority (NHA) has admonished tenants of housing estates to adhere to preventive measures outlined by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare on the Ebola disease.

NHA Director of Communication Maxwell David said tenants respecting the Ebola preventive measures would save the estates from becoming breeding grounds for the spread of the disease.

He told the Liberia News Agency Thursday that communities like the NHA estates must assume responsibility for ensuring that the deadly Ebola virus does not enter their vicinity.

David said this could be done by spreading the Ebola prevention message, promoting hygiene and reporting strange movements and abnormally sick persons to the relevant authorities.

Meanwhile, Mr. David has disclosed that the NHA has relocated its central office from the United Nations Drive in Waterside to Capitol Hill in the vicinity of the former Planning and Economic Affairs Ministry.
