By D. Ignatius Roberts, Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, July 30 (LINA)-The two suspected Ebola cases recently reported in Gola Konneh and Garwula Districts in Grand Cape Mount County have proved negative.

This was disclosed by the head of the County Health Team (CHT), Dr. Julius Garbo, during the County Ebola Task Force Coordination meeting held on Wednesday, July 30 in Sinje, Garwula District.

He said following the discovery of the two suspected cases specimens of the patients were sent to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare for testing.

Dr.Garbo said the test result released by the ministry has proved that the two are not Ebola cases.

Meanwhile, Dr. Garbo has called on citizens of the county not to panic as Government and partners are doing everything possible to minimize the spread of the deadly virus.

The medical doctor has at the same time warned citizens of the county to cooperate with health workers to contain the virus.
