Brown Urges Pillar Chairpersons To Redouble Efforts
By David Pamas Seedee, Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, July 29 (LINA) - Bomi County Superintendent Samuel Folley Brown has urged representatives of various ministries and agencies
chairing pillars in the county to redouble their efforts and perform their duties effectively.

Superintendent Brown said the County Administration depends on the various pillar reports to address issues affecting the county’s operations.

He said reports from the pillar meetings should be promptly presented to the County Development Steering Committee (CDSC) for action.

Superintendent Brown made the call during a meeting with the chairpersons of various pillars recently at the Administrative Building in Tubmanburg.

Superintendent Brown who is the Chairman of the CDSC said he would not hesitate to contact the head of any ministry or agency whose representative is not cooperating.

Also speaking at the meeting, UNMIL Head of Office in the Bomi County, Madam Frances Alesi, said the chairpersons would make the work of the County
authorities easy when their reports are well prepared and presented at CDSC meetings.

Madam Alesi said each pillar report should at least state three major points considered to be actions points.
She said the action points presented during CDSC meetings will be discussed and solutions will be found to protect the interest of the county and its citizens.
Meanwhile, the Chairpersons of the pillars have resolved to pass a resolution to guard the functions of their members.

The Chairpersons said the resolution, when signed by the chairpersons of the pillars, will be binding.
