NEC Replaces 621 Voter Cards In Gbarpolu

BOPOLU CITY, July 15 (LINA) – The National Elections Commission (NEC) sub-office in Gbarpolu County says it has replaced 621lost and damaged voter cards within the three electoral districts of the county.

A report on the six-day exercise said a total of 133 cards were replaced in Belleh District, with 101 males and 32 females processed, while nine damaged cards and 124 lost cards were replaced.

The report said during the exercise in Bopolu and Kongba Districts, 80 cards were replaced, including 76 lost cards and 4 damaged cards.

The report further indicated that during the exercise in Bopolu and Kongba, a total of 50 male and 30 female cards were processed.

The report noted that for Bokomu and Gou-Nwolala Districts, 112 damaged, 112 lost cards were  replaced, while a total of 92 males and 20 females turned out for the exercise.

The report added that during the exercise 205 males and 89 females were processed in Bopolu.
