Cape Mount Launches Ebola Awareness Campaign
By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, July 14(LINA) -The administration of Grand Cape Mount County has launched an Ebola prevention awareness campaign in the five districts of the county.

This was disclosed by the Assistant Superintendent for Development, Tenneh Simpson Kpedebah, in an interview Monday with the Liberia News Agency (LINA) correspondent in the county.

She said the Ebola prevention awareness campaign should claim the attention of every Liberian and not Government alone.

Madame Kpedebah has, meanwhile, urged citizens of the county to make maximum use of the Ebola prevention measures issued by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare to curb the spread of the disease and save lives.

She said besides holding awareness meetings in district head offices, the authorities have reached a decision to go to towns and villages in the interest of the people.

The districts are Commonwealth, Tewor, Porkpa, Gola Konneh and Garwula.

Meanwhile, the first suspected Ebola case that was recorded at the St. Timothy Government Hospital in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County has proved negative.

This was proved by the result of an Ebola test conducted by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare recently.
