Motorcyclists Pat VCC For Relocating Marketers
By Korboi Gbelewala, LINA Lofa County Correspondent

VOINJAMA, July 5 (LINA) -Motorcyclists plying the streets of Voinjama City have commended the Voinjama City Cooperation (VCC) for its timely response to their request to relocate marketers from the streets of the city.

They said the recent order to bar selling in the street in the Voinjama Central Market vicinity has created free passage for motorcyclists and pedestrians, especially on Friday, which is the Voinjama general market day.

The motorcyclists told the Liberia News Agency recently that most marketers who previously sold in the streets have been relocated, describing the action as a laudable move on the part of the VCC.

It can be recalled that recently motorcyclists complained about congestion along the Voinjama Central Market route caused by vendors selling in the street.

They noted at the time this was posing risk to the marketers and creating traffic jam in the area
