Kromah Says All Must Join To Reconstruct Cape Mount
By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent
ROBERTSPORT, July 4 (LINA) -A senatorial aspirant for Grand Cape Mount County, Dr. Fodee Kromah, has said the reconstruction of the county must claim the attention of all its citizens.
He said it was regrettable that since the end of the 14-year civil war that devastated roads and other infrastructure in Grand Cape Mount County, there has not been any reconstruction initiative, despite many companies operating in the county.
Delivering the keynote address at the graduation program of the St. John Episcopal High School in Robertsport recently, Kromah made reference to the Madina-Robertsports Highway which was devastated during the war.
“It is too regrettable to note that the Madina-Robertsport Highway is yet to be paved in the midst of the many companies that are investing in the area,” he pointed out.
The senatorial aspirant said rebuilding the county should not be the responsibility of the government alone but also the citizens themselves.
He called on the leadership of the county to design programs that will promote development that has the potential to improve the living standard of the people.
Meanwhile, Dr. Kromah has admonished school administrators, teachers and principals as well as parents to prioritize quality and sound education for the youth to make them productive and dependable future leaders.
He called on the graduates to continue to press forward for college education to enable them participate in the reconstruction of the country.
