Bomi Representative Hails Plan For New Court
By David Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, June 26 (LINA) - Bomi County Representative S. Garyah Karmo has hailed the decision of the Judicial Branch of Government to construct a modern court house in the county.

Representative Karmo said the Chief Justice’s decision has proven to the Liberian people that the decentralization of a modern judicial system throughout the country is a major priority of the Supreme Court of Liberia.

Representative Karmo, who escorted Chief Justice Korkpor and administrators of the Supreme Court to Tubmanburg recently, called on the people of Bomi to cooperate with the judicial branch in the implementation of the project.

He said the project is not just a court building but a modern complex which will comprise the residence of the Judge, offices of court administrators and the Magisterial Court, among others.

Representative Karmo said for the people of Bomi, it means another opportunity afforded them to make use of the judicial system in the country.

Meanwhile, according to Representative Karmo, the people of Bomi have made available 10 acres of land for the construction of the modern court complex.

Representative Karmo assured Chief Justice Korkpor that all documents required to commence the work would be made available without delay.
