TU Graduating Class Appeals For Teaching Role

By John Bropleh, LINA Maryland County Correspondent

HARPER, June 25 (LINA) - The 2014 graduating class of the William V.S. Tubman University in Harper, Maryland County has appealed to the administration of the university to recruit some members of the class as teaching assistants.

The class, through its valedictorian, P. Mark Jurry, said this was necessary because it would help the class showcase its talents and prove its proficiency to the University.

Mr. Jurry also said that if their appeal is granted, it will serve as job creation for the selected members of the class.

Mr. Jurry noted that the expatriates being hired by the University have very short tenures, adding that these would-be teaching assistants will go a long way in augmenting the instructional capacity of the University.

He also appealed to Government to provide at least two extra buses for the University to cater for students living outside Harper, such as Pleebo, which is 20 miles away from the university campus.
