KAKATA, June 23 (LINA) - The Judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Kakata, Margibi County has sentenced 19-year-old Isaac Dolo to 35 years in prison for the murder of one Moses Kolleh, Jr.

Judge Mardea Tarr- Chenoweth pronounced the sentence Friday following a unanimous guilty verdict by the empanelled jury, coupled with evidence adduced in court during the trial.

According to Judge Tarr-Chenoweth, the sentence was in keeping with Chapter 14, Section 14.1 of the new Penal Laws of Liberia.

On April 6, 2014, convict Dolo stabbed and killed victim Kolleh instantly following a tussle at a local entertainment center in Kakata.

Dolo, a 9th Grade student of the Lango Lippay High School got into an argument with Kolleh at a local entertainment center which resulted into a fist fight between them.
