SCI Donates To Margibi CEO

KAKATA, June 23 (LINA) - Save the Children International, a United Kingdom-based charity, has donated assorted educational materials to the office of the County Education Officer (CEO) in Margibi County.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the items include 75 plastic chairs, one desktop computer set, 10 reams of sheets and window curtains.

Presenting the items, a representative of SCI, Augustine Kullie, said the organization was delighted to donate the materials to the education office in Margibi County.

Mr. Kullie, who is also SCI Education Officer, said the charity will remain supportive of the Margibi County education office.

Receiving the items, Margibi CEO Gorma Minnie thanked SCI for the gesture and said it was timely because her office was facing logistics problems.

She said the donation will help strengthen her office carry out effective supervision of schools in the county, noting that education-related NGOs have been of great help to the CEO office
