LCCC To Induct President, Board Monday

VOINJAMA, June 14 (LINA) – Induction of the President and members of the Board of Trustees of the Lofa County Community College (LCCC) in Voinjama will take place on Monday, June 16, in Voinjama, the provincial capital.

According to a press release issued Thursday by the college, the induction ceremony will be performed by Vice President Joseph N. Boakai in the auditorium of the College.

The release said those to be inducted are Dr. Fredrick Gbegbe, President; Dr. T. Edward Liberty, Vice President and Dr. James Kollie, Record Officer of the LCCC.

Board members are Atty. Lavala  Kortimai, Mulbah Jackollie, Atty. Alhaji Kromah,  Mr. Saah Charles N’tow,  Sumo Kupee,  George Dunor, Etmonia Tarpeh, Ex-Officio; Dr.Micheal Slawon, Mariamu Fofana, Chief Forkpa Boakai, and Mr. Albert Colee.

It can be recalled that on February 19, 2014, the induction of the LCCC President and Board of Trustees was cancelled by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf at the eleventh hour.

No reason was given for the cancellation.
