Zorzor District Earmarks Development Projects

By KorboiGbelewala

VOINJAMA, Nov. 7 (LINA) -Zorzor District Commissioner Henry Wolobah has disclosed that his administration has earmarked several development projects to be implemented in the coming dry season.

He named the construction of the Konia-Buluyema road and construction of clinics and schools in Buluyema Clan in Zorzor district.

Making the disclosure in an interview with the Liberia News Agency Thursday, Commissioner Wolobah said the projects were his local administration’s way of buttressing government’s development efforts in the district.

Meanwhile, renovation work resumed early November on the Administrative Building in Zorzor City at an estimated cost of US$29,300.

Commissioner Wolobah said renovation work on the building came to a standstill in 2008 due to the death of the manager of the contracting firm who signed the renovation contract in 2008.

Commissioner Wolobah said when completed, the building will host all local officials in ZorzorDistrict.
