Robertsport Local Radio Journalist Dies

ROBERTSPORT, June 7 (LINA) – A local broadcaster, Thomas S.N’dorboryan, who worked for Radio Piso, has died after a brief illness, the Management of the Piso Community Radio Station in Robersport, Grand Cape Mount County, has announced.
According to the management, N’dorboryan died on Thursday at the Government Hospital in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.
He was born in Lofa County on May 4, 1983, but later moved to Grand Cape Mount County along with his parents.
The Management of Radio Piso described the late N’bordonyan, who served as acting station manager, as “one of the best broadcasters and script writers” in the history of the radio.
The management said the death of N’bordoryan has created a vacuum that cannot be easily filled due to his vast experience in journalism.
He also headed the Robertsport Innovative Youth Movement for Progress (RIYMP), and was Zonal head of the Liberia Youth Empowerment Project (LYEP).
He was a student of the Straz Sinje Technical and Vocational College of the University of Liberia, majoring in agriculture.
