Three Die In Two Accidents In Bong County

GBARNGA, June 6 (LINA) -The Bong County detachment of the Liberia National Police (LNP) has reported the deaths of three persons in two separate accidents in the county this week.

According to the report, victim Moses Vakpama and Lorpu Kollie Kpanlee, both adults, died when the motorcycle carrying them collided with an UNMIL truck, while Joseph Mulbah, 27, was killed on Monday, June 2, by a train belonging to iron miner China Union.

The train was conveying workers to Bong Mines from Monrovia following the day’s work.

In the motorbike accident, the UNMIL truck driver has been released on bail pending the recovery of the motorbike operator for investigation into the incident, the police said.
