LLBA Local Branch Gets Interim Leadership
By Richard Baysah, LINA Margibi County Correspondent

KAKATA, May 25 (LINA) - The Margibi County branch of the Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA) has set up an interim leadership pending the election of a new corps of officers in August this year.

According to the Liberia News Agency, members of the LNBA Margibi branch named Attorney John Josiah as interim president, replacing Attorney David Bai, who has held the position for 14 years.

The local bar mandated Josiah to plan and organize activities leading to the elections.

Meanwhile, the Judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Margibi County is calling on members of the Margibi County Bar Association to get actively involved with the Association for its betterment.

Judge Mardea Tarr-Chenoweth said it was disheartening that members of the Association show no concern about its growth, but yet boast of “an abstract” local Bar Association.
