Youth Challenged To Get Involved In Nation Building

MONROVIA, May 23(LINA) - Montserrado County Senator Joyce Musu Freeman Sumo has challenged Liberian youths to get involved in the rebuilding of their country.

Senator Somo also admonished Liberian youths should not allow politicians to use them to cause chaos in the society, but should rather be constructive nation builders.

She was speaking Wednesday at the induction ceremony of the new corps of officers of the Student Integration Movement (SIM) of the University of Liberia on the Capitol Hill Campus in Monrovia.

Sumo observed that Liberian youths have a major role to play in the rebuilding process in every sector of the nation, and ensuring sustainable peace and economic prosperity.

Those inducted were Eddie Mark Jr., Chairman; Eric Blamo, Co-chairman and D. Lawrence George Sr., Secretary General, among others
