Egyptian Embassy Lauds Liberian Police

MONROVIA, Jan 7 (LINA) – The Egyptian Embassy accredited near Monrovia has lauded the Liberia National Police for the professional and swift manner in which its agents retrieved valuable materials stolen from a vehicle of the embassy.

In a letter to Police Inspector General Col Chris Massaquoi, the Egyptian embassy praised the police assigned in the Airfield community for arresting the criminals, who broke into its vehicle on December 13, 2013 and made away with valuable items, including a GALAXY Note Pad phone valued at over US$1,000.

The Egyptian Embassy also thanked the three officers for the high level of cooperation, maximum and speedy intervention carried out in retrieving the stolen items, a release from the police said.

The Egyptian mission also thanked the Liberian Government for the cordial relationship, support and protection it continues to render Egyptian diplomats in the country.

The Embassy recommended to the Police chief to promote the three officers for the high level of professionalism exhibited in resolving the theft case.
