BOPOLU CITY, May 6 (LINA) - Seventy-three students in the ninth grade from two institutions in Gbarpolu County are sitting this year’s West African Examination Council (WAEC) exams at the Bopolu Central High School.
Making the disclosure to the Liberia News Agency (LINA) Tuesday, Bopolu Central High School Principal Latta V. Bemah said 38 males and 17 females were from his school, while 11 boys and seven girls are from the Bopolu Lott Carey Baptist School.
He indicated that unfortunately, students from Gou-Nwolala District did not arrive at the examination center due to misunderstanding over the venue.
According to Principal Bemah, the two-day examination covers Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and English.
Meanwhile, Bemah has appealed to WAEC to dispatch examiners and plotters ahead of the exams to enable their hosts to better prepare for the examination hall and inform students beforehand to be prepared for the public test.
