By Richard Baysah, LINA Margibi County Correspondent

KAKATA, May 4 (LINA) –The DAZ and DAZ Trading Company in Kakata, Margibi County, has begun construction  work on the Weala Water Project in Cinta Township, upper Margibi County.

The US$78,000 project, which is being funded from the 2012-2013 National Fiscal Budget, is expected to be completed in October 2014.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the project will benefit  more than 10,000 residents of Weala Town and its environs in Margibi when completed.

The General Manager and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DAZ and DAZ Trading General Manager, David Zinnah, told LINA that the well has already been dug and construction of the reservoir is 90 percent completed.

Zinnah said his company was hired early this month by the county administration to construct the pipe-borne water supply system for the town, noting, “It will give the people of Weala the pipe-borne water they have yearned for all these years.”
