VOINJAMA, April 27 (LINA) - The National Elections Commission (NEC) Lofa County sub-office will Monday, April 28, begin a five-day voter roll exhibition exercise in the county.
Making the disclosure to the Liberia News Agency Sunday, NEC Magistrate in Lofa County, Albert Smith, said the exhibition exercise will enable the Commission to rectify mistakes in the roster.
Smith disclosed that at least 160 officers and clerks have been trained, screened and deployed to 80 registration centers in the four districts of Lofa County.
The voter roll exhibition follows the Voter Roll Update (VRU) carried out early this year targeting individuals who have attained the age of 18 since the last election in 2011, those who have relocated and others who lost their voter cards.
Meanwhile, Mr. Smith is urging residents to cooperate with NEC staff during the exercise in their towns, villages and cities.
