Prelate Urges Liberian To Reconcile
By John Bropleh, Maryland County Correspondent

HARPER, April 21 (LINA) -The Senior Pastor of the Mount Scot United Methodist Church in Harper, Maryland County, Rev. Dr. Anthony Dio, has called on Liberians to use the Easter Season to reconcile to enhance national peace and stability.

“If Jesus could tell his Father to forgive his persecutors while dying on the cross, why can’t Liberians as a people and nation reconcile and forgive one another to move the country forward?” Rev. Dio asked.

The Methodist Clergyman made the call on Easter Sunday at the Church when he delivered the sermon to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus

He preached on the Theme, “Because He Lives”, reminding the Christians that there is hope for mankind to live as Jesus died on the Cross to ensure our Salvation.
