Bassa Council of Elders Chair Rebuffs Accusers
By Johnson Liway, LINA Grand Bassa County Correspondent

BUCHANAN, April 19 (LINA) – The Chairman of the Resilient Council of Elders of Grand Bassa County, Rev. Dr. Aba Karnga, has rejected allegations that he is stirring problems in Grand Bassa County.

Dr. Karnga made the statement during the week in an interview with Magic FM from his Buchanan residence in Lower Harlandsville, Buchana City.

He said he did not initially want to respond to the accusation by Jerome Gilman, President of the Grand Bassa County Association in the Americas, but he has been compelled to do so because his character has been tarnished, and also because of family pressure.

Karngar added that it was unfortunate that Gilman would make such “a sweeping statement,” noting that he should desist from making statements that could bring confusion among the people of Bassa.

It can be recalled that Gilman, a son of Grand Bassa County, recently accused Dr. Karngar of being one of the individuals who are ill-advising the people of Bassa that is causing confusion in the county.
