RN Recommends Health Post For Klay
TUBMANBURG, April 16 (LINA) - A health practitioner in Klay District, Bomi County, is calling on the citizens of the district to construct a health center in Klay Town, the headquarters of the district.
Speaking to the Liberia News Agency in Klay recently, Register Nurse (RN) Sam R. Judges said Klay has a growing population that will require the availability of a health care post.
RN Judges said Klay at the crossroad where roads from Gbah, Suehn Mecca and other towns and villages leading to Monrovia and Tubmanburg are connected.
He said many patients leave Klay at midnight to travel to Tubmanburg or Monrovia to seek medical attention simply because there is no health center in this expanding town.
RN Judges suggested that citizens engage their lawmakers in this direction and should also be willing to make contributions to construct a heath center in the town.
He said if the government does not have money at the moment to build the health post, the citizens must aid the government to undertake this meaningful development project.
RN Judges said the citizens should prioritize the building of a health center with development funds over the construction of compounds for Clan, Paramount and Town chiefs.
He said when the health conditions of the people are improved developments will surely come because they will be able to work, generate income and contribute to projects in the area.
